Sybarite ∙ Co-founder ∙ UK

Simon Mitchell co-founded Sybarite in 2002, as an architectural studio specialising in luxury store design.

It has since realised over 2,500 luxury retail projects, ranging from brand identity to flagship design and global store roll outs. Clients include the luxury monobrands Pink Shirtmaker London, Marni and Joseph, through to large scale shopping malls and cinemas for CR Land and most notably the largest luxury department store in Asia by size and turnover SKP. The latest evolution of Sybarite’s relationship with SKP is SKP-S, Beijing, which set a new benchmark in experiential store design when it opened in December 2019.

The collaboration within the Sybarite studio during Covid-19 has seen increased productivity and the securing of several new clients. This is an affirmation of the team’s dedication and of Simon’s fair, clear and empathetic leadership.
